Subject: New Telemedicine Benefit
Effective April 1, 2020

    ArcelorMittal has added a telemedicine benefit for the USW represented employees and retired employees who are enrolled in Highmark medical coverage, effective April 1, 2020. The coverage for telemedicine services will be as follows:

    PPO Plan Offering

    100% after $20 copayment.

    CDHP Plan Offering

    80% after deductible


There are two telemedicine providers that members can access: AmWell and Doctor On Demand.


AmWell www.amwell.com offers primary care, behavioral health and dermatology visits.

Doctor On Demand www.doctorondemand.com offers primary care visits only.


ALL Members will be receiving a telemedicine welcome package in the mail in the coming weeks. Until the welcome package arrives, attached are several promotional flyers that you can share with your members about the telemedicine program. The flyer labeled, Telemedicine How To, details how members can register to access telemedicine services. Highmark customer service has been notified of this new benefit and members can call the number on the back of their Highmark ID card if they have questions or need assistance with registering for telemedicine.
